GloRilla, a BET Amplified Artist last year, is second to Drake with six nominations. The 23-year-old rapper gained notoriety last year with her smash song “F.N.F. (Let’s Go),” and she was nominated for best female hip-hop artist, best new artist, album of the year for Anyways, Life’s Great, Best Collaboration, and Video of the Year.

Nikki Taylor, Teyana Taylor’s mother, accepted her daughter’s prize and even called her during the show to inform her that she had won video director of the year. There were two high-profile ties among the 15 non-televised awards: Beyoncé’s Renaissance and SZA’s SOS tied for album of the year, and Chris Brown and Usher tied for best male R&B/pop artist.
